Attorney Preston Clinton represents individuals and businesses in various civil litigation and criminal matters with a focus on contract disputes, business law and personal injuries. Preston represents clients in both State and Federal Courts and is licensed in Massachusetts, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the United States Bankruptcy Court.
Prior to becoming a member of the Massachusetts Bar in 2014, Preston grew up on the South Shore and graduated from Ithaca College in 2008 with BA in Politics and Business. Preston attended Suffolk University Law School where he was elected to serve as the Section Representative in the Student Government while working full-time for the Essex County District Attorney’s Office during the day and attending law school courses in the evenings.
Preston is committed to helping people who face a broad range of legal matters, practicing in many different areas of the law to maximize his ability to address the diverse needs of people who need legal representation. Preston’s approach to representing his clients is aimed toward the goal of meeting and addressing the unique needs of individuals and entities. Preston counsels clients in both litigation and transactional law matters. In civil matters, Preston’s practice areas include: business litigation, contract disputes, commercial and residential real estate, torts, family law, trust and estates, property law, education law and Workers’ Compensation. In business law matters, Preston represents clients in matters ranging from small to medium size business disputes, to domestic and international business litigation and contract lawsuits, as well as consumer protection matters. With respect to tort law, Preston has extensive experience in matters of negligence, including personal injury and medical malpractice.
Preston has extensive experience representing those individuals who have been wronged by others, whether the wrongdoers are individuals, companies or corporations. For victims of fraud and unfair and deceptive practices, justice is obtained for clients in both the criminal and civil arenas. In addition to individuals and corporations, Preston has also successfully brought legal action against institutions of higher education on behalf of his clients.
Preston resides in Duxbury, and spends his free time skiing, hiking and sailing with family and friends.
